You know, bridal converse for me as a kid, when I was buying clothes, I'd always look for something with extra features or functions. I think that giving a kid a UV shirt, it gives them a whole other function of their shirt that they can show their friends, and it does something more than just "buy this shirt, it's got a graphic, you see what it is." It morphs, it changes, and it interacts with the user and the environment it's in. I think that's what's so fun about this project. It makes the shoe more than just a shoe. It's a conversation piece, something that's unique to the wearer.
First released in 1917, the more-than-iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star finally gets a sequel. Introducing the Chuck Taylor II, the brand's revamp of the most famous sneaker in the world. Knowing not too mess with perfection, Converse crafts the shoe with appealing new details, but keeps the original silhouette intact. Officially brown leather converse unveiled in Boston yesterday with media and special guests in attendance, the Chuck Taylor II's most important new feature is a new Nike Lunarlon insole for more comfort and cushion than you'd ever expect from the shoe.
The new Chuck 2 features the same silhouette as the original, but feature new, sturdier materials burgundy converse as well as a full-length Nike LunarLon sole. They will release in four colorways (Hi and Lo) on July 28th.CLOT and Converse go south this summer for the "Tex Mex" pack, featuring a special colorway of the Thunderbolt 84 with a matching reversible jacket. The colorway is inspired by the unique prints and patterns from the cultures of Texas and Mexico, which the Chinese sneaker shop references as a way to illustrate the diverse ethnicity around the globe today. The retro Converse runner features a multicolor striped textile at is base, with light and dark blue suede overlays and a red inner lining.
The accompanying windbreaker burgundy converse womens features the same striped pattern on one side with a solid blue hue on the reverse.CLOT and Converse just released a premium edition of the One Star , but it looks like their collaborative effort this fall isn't ending there. CLOT founder Edison Chen recently teased a look at another upcoming sneaker by the two brands, the Converse Fastbreak . The vintage 1980s basketball model reintroduced by Converse earlier this year receives a unique construction from CLOT, that from what we can see here features a grey mesh upper with cream leather at the heels and blue hairy suede around the ankle area, finished with co-branded logos embossed on each heel. Taking a more camo converse adventurous route, the Chuck Taylor showcases the furry texture along the entire profile in an overall patchwork design with the contrasting shades separated by the heel-facing zipper.
